After finding out about the fate of his grandfather and master/teacher, Ishida unleashes an extreme amount of spirit force. He uses a technique called Heavenly Wild Suit Puppet, which enables him to move again. Flashbacks show why Ishida wanted to be strong and become a Quincy. Then they show when he was training alone. He trained a straight seven days and nights with his spirit bow and glove. Although, putting it on means that he can never take it off, cause that would give him immeasurable power for only awhile but then he will lose all his Quincy power afterwards. Since, the battle against Kurotshuchi doesn't seem to be leaning towards Ishida's victory, he decides to step it up a bit and take his glove off. He then gains a huge amount of spirit energy. In the end, he succeeds to beat Kurotshuchi, but it seems that he was still alive and he ran away to gain more power. Eventhough he won the battle, is Ishida still able to sustain his Quincy powers?
