Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru UnmeiFrom Treasure Co. Ltd and Sega comes Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei, a 2D Fighting game for the Nintendo DS that features a large cast of playable characters (26 in fact) from the Bleach anime and manga. This game also features the ability to use Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection to allow up to four (4) players to connect from every corner of the globe and fight eachother. The very good game modes include; story mode, arcade mode, VS mode, training mode, and a challenge mode. As far as gameplay is concerned, each player has three bars to their character: a life bar, spiritual energy bar, and stamina bar. The playing field consists of two 2D fields in a stage, with players being able to move freely between the two. Unique special moves can be done through a couple of methods, either the player inputs the attack manually (down, forward, attack) or through the special attack menu in the touch panel. Each player also has access to certain cards that can change vital stats of both themselves or their enemies. Players can even design what cards are accessible to them via a deck builder, with two cards at the players disposal at any one time. The cards are of course activated by simply touching them and their powers will be activated for only a certain amount of time before being replaced by a new card. Players start with a certain amount of "stock" to be used as currency to buy the cards, each time a card is used that persons stock is deducted by the cost of the card which can be found on the bottom of each card until the player can't afford to buy any more cards.
